AIRPORT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER\n£20,216 - £24,709 (dependent on experience)\n\nLeeds Bradford International Airport is one of the fastest growing regional airports in the UK.\n\nWe are now seeking to employ an apprentice trained Electrical Engineer to join our airport electrical maintenance department. The successful applicant will possess City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 (Electrical Installation), 2380/2381 qualifications (IEE 16th edition), City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (preferable) and have extensive experience of fault finding, maintenance and installation. You should have experience of testing, planned preventative maintenance, breakdown maintenance and installation works.\n\nApplicants will be capable of working both individually or as part of a team.\n\nKnowledge of airfield ground lighting installations would be desirable although not essential. Experience with PLC controls and high voltage procedures are advantageous.\n\nThe post demands that the applicants undergo a criminal record check, are physically fit and hold a current driving licence.\n\nThe hours of work will be on an alternating shift pattern, covering 7 days between 0530 ? 2200 hours (including call out)\n\nThe post holder will be responsible for the upkeep and modification of the terminal/airfield electrical installations and distribution systems, ensuring the compliance of all statutory electrical legislation and regulation.\n\nPosting ref: 14004554
